You have most likely heard the new single by Janesse Monae called “Q.U.E.E.N.”, the one that features Erykah Badu, and you’ve probably have had the video on repeat mode. Monae will be releasing The Electric Lady (Bad Boy/Wondaland) album next week, and you’re now able to buy the 45 of the song (b/w “Dance Apocalyptic”) on a very nice split color 7″ record. Unfortunately, the 45 is not being sold on its own, as it’s part of a bundle when you purchase the MP3′s or CD for her new album, no exceptions. You can find out about pre-order prices and information by going to the JMonae.com web store. There is no word on if the record will be made available on its own in the near future, so this will be the only way to get it on vinyl. Oddly enough, no word on if The Electric Lady will be released on vinyl either, but hopefully that will materialize soon.
